First off I want to give a HUGE shout out to Think Entrepreneurship for sending me a nifty T-shirt! If you haven’t checked these guys out yet I strongly suggest it. They’ve got some great advice for anyone wanting to start their own business and make some cash.

Second, Q&A Monday is a little different this week. I often get asked if reviewing is a good way to build an audience. I also get asked whether or not new bloggers should start doing product reviews for the audience. My answer? HELL YES!

Not only are reviews a great way to build your audience and grow your authority on a topic, it’s an awesome way to get FREE stuff! Most of the books I’ve reviewed in the past have been given to me for free by the authors, I then pass it a long to one of my readers in an effort to share the wealth. This month, however, I switched it up a bit and signed up for Influenster who were gracious to send me their latest themed box – the Latina Beauty Vox Box.

In this week’s video I do a little review for you guys so you can see for yourselves how you can use them in your own blogs. Long story short, I got a lot of awesome stuff for free and love to share these tidbits with you all.

Do you do reviews on your blog? What do you review? Share your links in the comments section!

Great post Amanda. In my experience reviews have been beneficial to my blog as well. You are being very helpful by writing a review for someone else, and thus they are appreciative and want people to check it out. So, it has helped traffic and I’ve benefitted from free e-books, books, and promo items / gift certificates. I recently did one for an author about their ebook and it brought in a lot of traffic. You might have to do one for her as well ( Manoush Zomorodi ). Her book is awesome and really helpful for creating videos. If you want any contact info shoot me a message.

Thanks for the post and keep up the good work!
