About Amanda Abella
Amanda Abella is a sought-after Latina millennial finance and entrepreneurship expert who is fully bilingual in verbal and written English and Spanish. After struggling to nd a job for several months when she graduated from college in 2010, Amanda realized she needed to learn important life skills that would help her get ahead in her career and her nances.
She started blogging about her own financial journey in November of 2010 and has since created a community of over 30,000 (and growing) followers across social platforms, email subscriber channels and podcast listeners where millennials seek business and financial advice, support and encouragement.
As the daughter Cuban immigrant parents, Amanda also seeks to empower the LatinX community to improve their nances and has worked as a marketing consultant for financial companies seeking to reach that market. Amanda’s work has been featured in Forbes, The Huffington Post, Success Magazine, Business Insider and more. She is also regularly quoted in large media outlets, personal finance blogs, and podcasts.
Her blog was nominated as one of the Best Personal Finance Blogs for Millennials at the 2015 Plutus Awards and was the recipient of the 2016 Best Designed Personal Finance Plutus Award. Amanda is also the two-time recipient of the Best Finance Blogger Award from South Florida Bloggers for 2016 and 2017.
Amanda’s background in HR, business development, positive psychology trainings and personal nance helps her create content that allows her community to open up about their financial struggles and take steps to overcome them. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ave Maria University in Southwest Florida and is a certified professional coach who consistently undergoes new training in positive psychology.
